How to gift an app

Gifting an app is simple. For this tutorial I'll be using an iPad, but the process is similar for an iPhone or iPod Touch.

You'll need:
•an app to gift
•the recipient's email address associated with an iTunes account in the same country as you
•a credit or debit card

Thats it! Your ready to send your gift.

Step 1

Open the AppStore and navigate to the app you wish to gift. Your screen should look similar to this one:

In the upper right hand corner there is an option called, "Gift this app". Tap that, and follow the onscreen instructions. Once you reach the following screen, input the requested information. You may choose any name to display, so your privacy is protected. Enter the recipients name or screen name, and their email address, and then checkout.

That's all there is to it, your gift is on it's way.
