Hot Springs Story

Really awesome game, and I've been playing it as much as I used to play Game Dev Story. Any tips or tricks?

Agreed, it's great fun.

Patience is probably the best tip. But also don't be afraid to spend. You get bailed out the first time your low on money, but I'm not sure about after that, I haven't run out more than once.

Make sure to invest when you can, that's how you unlock higher paying customers.

Don't upgrade your land size just cause you can. The more you have built, the more you get charged per month for maintenance.

I thought maintenance was only based on the number of rooms, etc. that you bought. Does it also count land that you have not done anything with?

Unused land doesn't count, but you can't build unnecessary structures if there's no room for them. Which leaves you with more money for other stuff, until you need to upgrade.
